Pre-Board exams that are organized at the school levels can\nbe considered as the mock test before the Board Exams. Thus the schools are bound to test you in your pre-board\nexams, based on the NCERT Text Book Syllabus. Similarly, the CBSE will frame\nquestions from these prescribed textbooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth mentioning here, that the CBSE has released a Circular that clarifies about the testing areas in the Board Exams<\/a>. The circular mentions that there are some extra materials in the NCERT Text Books inside the market boxes. And these boxes states that these extra materials are just for the awareness, and not for the testing purpose. Although it may be asked in the CBSE board examinations of class 11th and 12th if it falls under the CBSE Curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year the CBSE Board publishes CBSE Sample Papers<\/a> for each subject to help the students prepare for Board Exams. In addition to that, you should get a copy of previous year question papers of CBSE board exams and solve it multiple times. It will definitely bring you an idea of the way questions are framed.
