This fitness celebration is crafted to promote physical fitness among CBSE students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular mentions that the children who remain are able\nto handle their day-to-day physical and emotional challenges in a better way. Also,\nit asserts that awareness and support for the fitness movement aimed at a\nholistic and healthy lifestyle to promote internal health has become more\nessential than before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular also draws its reference from the \u201cFit India\nMovement\u201d launched on 29 Aug 2019 by the Honorable Prime Minister of India Mr\nNarendra Modi. Moreover, the moment was formulated to encourage people to include\nand develop physical activity and sports in their day-to-day lives and into\ntheir daily routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It further adds that, in order to take this mission of \u201cFit\nIndia Movement\u2019 further, CBSE has taken an initiative to celebrate a \u201cFitness\nWeek\u201d. It will be organized every year in all its affiliated schools, during\nthe second and third week of November, for a total of six working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been observed that in the concurrent time of the digital\nera, the virtual reality through the smart devices dominates over the physical playfulness.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, the circular further emphasizes that the movement\nalso focuses to change this behaviour from \u2018Passive Screen time\u2019 to \u2018Active\nField time\u2019. and the schools need to support the development of the Sports\nQuotient among all the students of CBSE and help them achieve a healthy\nlifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will also promote an understanding and a sense of regular\nphysical activity and higher levels of fitness among the students, a sense that\nit will enhance their self-esteem and their confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ek Bharat \u2013 Shreshtha Bharat for Promoting Indigenous Games<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the sixth day of this program, CBSE decided to take-up\n\u201cEk Bharat \u2013 Shreshtha Bharat\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this purpose, the schools of one state are partnered\nwith the schools of another state. Moreover, the Schools falling under the\nPartner State 1 are expected to take-up and organize native or local games of Partner\nState 2 and vice- a-Versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pair of states to exchange their Indigenous Games<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The CBSE has already decided the pairs of the states. They always\nmention or say recommends a student to stay fit to enhance their learning and\nperformance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it can be construed that focus on fitness\naimed at students, derives its root from a wise saying \u201ca healthy mind resides\nin a healthy body\u201d.
