“Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana” (KVPY) is a scholarship exam conducted by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. The exam was started in 1999 and the aim of the exam is to encourage students to make their career in the field of research. The intention of this exam to boost students to realize their potential and to make their career in the area of basic sciences. KVPY 2019 will be held on November 3, 2019, in the computer based test (CBT) mode.
To qualify the KVPY scholarship exam, students need to first clear the aptitude test after which they are short-listed for the interview. The final result is based on the 75% weight-age for aptitude marks and 25% weight-age for the interview marks in all the streams.
