Putting light on the Official notification of the pending CBSE class 10 & 12 board exams, he said that the main highlight of the Notification is that the board has decided to conduct the examination in two ways.

Firstly, the exams of the pending paper will be held in the respective schools of the students where they are enrolled, instead of the previously allotted exam centre.

Secondly, the CBSE Board will allow making changes in the exam centre for the candidates who are currently not available at the place of their school. The facility to change the exam centre is meant for those students who had shifted in the Lock-down to another city, district or state.

However, the change in exam centre will not be allowed in the same district. But if they are in another district of the same state, then they can opt for the change in the examination centre.

Nodal Examination Centre for the pending CBSE Class 10 & 12 Board Exams

For the students who will opt for the change in their exam centre, CBSE will arrange nodal examination centres. One school in each district will be fixed as the nodal exam centre. However, these centres will be created in the districts where CBSE is having affiliated schools.

This measure will accommodate for the testing of the candidates who have migrated from their earlier district of exam centre to the other district in India.

To make the change in the examination centre both the regular and the private candidates should meet the eligibility criteria.
