RBSE Board Exams 2020 Pending Paper Starts, Get the Stats & Insights

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has resumed the pending board exams of class 10th and 12th from yesterday, 18 June.

“After a long pause in the on-going conduction of RBSE Board Exam 2020 due to CORONAVIRUS pandemic, the RBSE has started to conduct the remaining board papers. In the first tier, the Class 12th board exams have started on June 18. Wherein, around more than 92 thousand students appeared. Special care is being implemented to ensure safety from the Covid-19 infection at around 6000 exam centres in the state.” explains Mr Om Maheshwari, director of Career Point and an eminent figure of the Kota Coaching.

Mr Maheshwari further informed that the remaining board papers of Class 12 are scheduled to be conducted from June 18 to June 27, 2020. Similarly, conduction of Class 10th board papers is scheduled to take place from June 27 to June 30, 2020. He further states that as per the stats, a total of 20 lakh candidates would be appearing for the pending board papers in the state.

He said that the first two papers of the RBSE pending exams to be held after the lockdown were mathematics and science for Class 12. Before initiation of the examination at 8.30 in the exam centres, thermal screening of all students was done. Moreover, proper social distancing was enforced to ensure the students as well as staff safety. Mr Maheshwari said that reportedly 521 new exam centres have been created across Rajasthan by the RBSE to conduct the remaining exams.

Some of the schools that are currently being used as the exam centres were used previously as the quarantine centres for the pandemic. Therefore such centres were paid special attention and were sanitized two to three times prior to starting of the exams.

 

Provisions of exams for specially-abled students or the students who missed their paper

The RBSE Board has made it clear that the students who are unable to attend the exams due to some reasons can appear for the supplementary exams. These supplementary exams are scheduled to be held in August. On the other hand, special arrangements will be made for specially-abled students. For which the exams will be conducted when the supplementary exams will be held in Rajasthan.
