CBSE Class 12 Board Results Declared_ No Merit List This Year

Today on July 13, the Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the class 12 Board Results, ending the wait of over 12 lakh students. As usual, the result has been made available to the students on www.cbseresults.nic.in, the official website. Moreover, the students were eagerly waiting for their CBSE class 12th results. So the huge traffic of the students on the websites of the CBSE led to the crashing of the website temporarily.

The Academic Director of Career Point, Mr Shailendra Maheshwari said that the first news of class 12th board declaration appeared on the official twitter handle of the Union MHRD. The Union HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Portrayal “Nishank” tweeted about the release of the CBSE 12th results.

On the very first day, CBSE declared the results for Arts, Commerce and Science streams of class 12, as it was declared last year.Additionally, the students should note that as per the Board’s decision, the merit list will not be issued this year. This alteration has been made due to the impact of Covid-19 on CBSE examination and evaluation process.

Students can check their CBSE class 12 results from the official website of the Board — cbse.nic.in.

How to check CBSE class 12 board result 2020?

The students can visit the link www.cbseresults.nic.in, and can check their CBSE class 12 result 2020 from there.

Mr Maheshwari says that the candidates may be required to enter certain details to fetch the results. So the students are advised to keep the following personal details handy. These are:- 

  • CBSE admit card number
  • Roll number
  • School number 
  • Centre number
  • Admit card ID as given on their admit card

CBSE 12th Result Stats

  • A total of 1203595 candidates had registered this year for the CBSE 12th board examinations.
  • Out of which, a total of 1192961 students had appeared in the exam. Among those students, 1059080 students have declared to have passed.
  • Thus this makes the overall passing ratio of the students in CBSE 12th boards to be 88.78%.
  • As per the media sources, it is being said that the Girl candidates have outshine the boys in CBSE class 12 board exams. The girls have marked a record pass percentage of 5.96% higher pass percentage than boys.
