How to Calculate Score – CUET 2022

To make it easy for the students, here is the simplified process to that will help the students to calculate the CUET 2022 score:

  • Since the exam was conducted in multiple sessions therefore NTA (National Testing Agency) has adopted a normalization process through which the CUET 2022 percentile is calculated.
  • First, the highest percentile scored by the student in a particular session is to be taken into consideration.
  • The percentile score will have up to 7 decimal points. This will help NTA in giving the ranks to the students on the basis of the percentile score with the exact decimal points.
  • A thing to keep in mind is that the candidate with the highest marks in each shift shall get 100 percentiles.
  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the percentile and the raw score while announcing the results.

Formula for Normalization

Total Percentile (100) = (Number of candidates who appeared from the session with a raw scoreless or equal to the total percentile) / (Total number of candidates who appeared in the session)

What is Tie-Breaker Method?

If two or more than two students having identical CUET score choose the same college and course as their top choices, their class 12 board marks or the percentage will be used as a tiebreaker to determine who will get the seat.
