HRD Minister Takes Webinar, Announces JEE Main and NEET 2020 Dates

HRD Minister announces JEE Main & NEET 2020 dates.

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank interacted with the students all across India today on May 5th 2020, through a webinar streamed live on Twitter and Facebook. In the live webinar session, Mr Pokhriyal announced that the JEE Main 2020 will be from 18th of July to 23 of July, whereas, the NEET 2020 will be held on July 26. On the other hand dates of JEE Advanced has not been decided yet and is being expected to be held in August this year. 

He also said that all the students of classes 1 to 8 will be promoted to the next class. The students of class 9th and 11th would be promoted to class 10th and 12th based on the internal assessment and the marks obtained in the previous internal exam. The announcement of the board exams is likely to be anounced within a day or two.

Mr Shailendra Maheshwari, Academic Director of Career Point said that as per the data of NTA more than 9 lakh students have registered for JEE Main 2020 and over 15.93 lakhs have done registration for NEET 2020. The NTA had earlier postponed JEE Main and NEET 2020 until new decision dates. However, now the exam dates are finally out, for which the NEET and JEE aspirants were waiting.

Mr Maheshwari said that now when the new dates have allowed the students with a bonus time of around two and a half months, they should speed up their revisions.
