On September 30, 2019, NTA (The National Testing Agency) has released a public notice to announce the extension in the online registration deadline for the JEE Main 2020 January examination. For admissions to Undergraduate Programs offered in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. This, in turn, extends other allied event dates. Viz, last dates of Successful final transaction of fee and last date of Correction in particulars of application forms. This has been done as NTA was receiving lots of requests.
Revised Dates of JEE Main 2020 January Exam
Previously, the last date of the JEE Main January 2020 registration was scheduled for 30th September 2019. While with an extended deadline, now candidates can register for the exam until the 10th of October 2019.
Successful final transaction of fee through Credit or Debit Card or Net Banking or UPI and PAYTM Service is now extended till the 11th of October 2019 (up to 11.50 p.m.). Earlier, its last date was scheduled for the 1st of September 2019.
Moreover, extension in the last date of the JEE Main 2020 registration extended the last date for Correction in application. Formerly, it was from 11th of September 2019 till the 17th of September 2019(up to 11.50 p.m.). While now the revised dates are scheduled from 14th of September 2019 to 20th of September 2019(up to 11.50 p.m.)

Other information and events of the JEE Main exam remain the same as usual which was mentioned in the Public Notice dated the 3rd September 2019, released earlier.
