JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Day 1 (25 July) Question Paper Analysis

The country’s biggest engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2022 Session 2 (July Session) commenced on Monday. Similar to JEE Main 2022 Session 1 the exam is conducted in 2 shifts morning shift and evening shift. The JEE Main 2022 Session 2 was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Career Point is providing the day-wise analysis of JEE Main 2022 Session 2. Academic Director of Career Point Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari said that the analysis of the JEE Main Session 2 papers has been done on the basis of the information provided by the students. According to the feedback of students, on the first day of JEE Main 2022 Session 2, the Mathematics section is difficult. All the questions that are asked in the Maths section were lengthy and calculative. So, in short, according to the student’s response Maths paper is difficult.

Physics

The Physics section in the morning shift of JEE Main 2022 session 2 is similar to the JEE Main Session 1. Almost all the topics were covered in the Physics section. Questions that were asked in the exam cover the entire syllabus of Physics. Questions from Kinematics, Ray & Wave Optics, WEP (Work Energy & Power), and Rotational motion were asked. According to the student’s response, the questions that were asked about the semiconductor part were a little bit confusing. The shift 2 paper of Physics was a quite moderate level.

Maths

In the morning shift, the Maths section was easy in comparison with the rest two sections. Similar to Session 1 this time also all the topics were covered in the exam. One question is asked from all the topics. The Maths section was longer and more time-consuming. All the topics were covered but almost 9 questions were asked on the topic of Calculus, 8 from Algebra, and others. All the questions are calculative and lengthy. So, in short difficulty level of the Maths section is high. Similar to the first shift, the second shift paper on Maths is difficult and lengthy. According to the student’s review, only a few questions were there in the paper that are single formula based. Multiple formulas and concepts were applied to the questions. The conclusion is the Maths section is difficult.

Chemistry

Chemistry paper was easy in comparison with Maths and Physics. Questions were asked on almost all the topics. In physical chemistry questions from ionic equilibrium, liquid solutions, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mole concept were asked. Similarly in organic chemistry questions from chemistry in everyday life, Biomolecule Polymer, Environmental Chemistry, Alcohol Phenol, and inorganic chemistry S-Block, D-block, Coordination Chemistry, and Periodic table questions were asked. Similar to the 1st shift, the 2nd shift Chemistry section was easy.
