JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Day 2 (26th July) Shift 1 & Shift 2 Paper Analysis

The country’s biggest engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2022 Session 2 (July Session) commenced on Tuesday. The JEE Main 2022 Session 2 commenced on 25th July and it was the second day of the exam. Similar to JEE Main 2022 Session 1 the exam is conducted in 2 shifts morning shift and evening shift. The JEE Main 2022 Session 2 was helped in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Career Point is providing the day-wise analysis of JEE Main 2022 Session 2. Academic Director of Career Point Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari said that the analysis of the JEE Main Session 2 papers has been done on the basis of the information provided by the students. According to the information received by the students, the question paper was quite easier compared to the day 1 question paper. All the entire syllabus is covered in the exam and the level of difficulty is also maintained in the day 2 paper. Similar to day 1, the Maths paper is lengthy and difficult among the three subjects. While in the day 2 paper 60% of the syllabus is covered by class 12th and 40% syllabus is covered by class 11th.

Physics

According to the students, the Physics paper was easy in comparison with the day 1 paper. Questions from Thermodynamics, NLM, Semiconductor, Magnetic Field, SHM, Kinematics, Wave Optics, and Error topics were asked. Questions from Current Electricity and Radioactivity were also asked in the day 2 JEE Main 2022 Session 2 paper.

Maths

In the maths paper in both the shifts 60% syllabus was covered from the 12th class and 40% syllabus is covered from class 11th. The maths section is more difficult and more time-consuming than both the subjects. Around 4-5 questions were very difficult in the maths section. According to the student’s maths section will the resulting change in the exam which means the maths paper will decide the rank of the students. The difficult level of the maths paper in the second is of moderate level. Students said that level of some questions was so high that they were asked in the previous year’s JEE Advanced exam.  

Chemistry

The Chemistry section was easy in the morning to sift. In physical chemistry, questions were asked about Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Thermochemistry, Mole Concept, and Electrochemistry. In organic chemistry questions from Chemistry in Everyday life, Nitrogen-containing compound, Phenol, and Separation Technique methods were asked. Questions from Coordination Compound, Block Chemistry, etc. were asked from Inorganic chemistry. The difficulty level in the 2nd shift was also moderate. In the second shift questions from IUPAC Nomenclature, Biomolecules, Phenol, Metallurgy, D-block, S-Block, P-Block, and Surface Chemistry were asked. All over the paper was of moderate level.
