JoSAA Counselling Schedule Released – Registrations Begins from 12th Sept

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the JoSAA counseling schedule for the year 2022 for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other technical institutes in the country. The schedule for the JoSAA has been released on its official website josaa.nic.in

JoSSA Counselling would be commenced after the completion of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination and the declaration of the result. The JEE Advanced 2022 exam is going too held on 28^th August 2022 and the result will be announced on 11th September. The JoSSA registration procedure and choice filling will start on 12^th September 2022.

JoSSA Counselling Procedure

The JoSSA counseling will take place in 6 rounds. The participants of the JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022 will be able to participate in the JoSSA for the allotment of seats in the technical institutes of the country like IITs, NITs, IIITs and others.

As per the schedule released by the authority, the registration and choice filling procedure for JoSAA counseling will start on the 12th of September and the last date is the 21st of September.

• Round 1 of the counseling process would be held from 23rd September to 27th September
• Round 2 of the counseling process would be held from 28th  September to 2nd October
• Round 3 of the counseling process would be held from 3rd October to 7th October
• Round 4 of the counseling process would be held from 8th October to 11th October
• Round 5 of the counseling process would be held from 12th October to 15th October
• The final round, round 6 of the counseling process would be held from 16^th October to 17^th October

The candidates have to confirm the allotment of seats by opting for the freeze, float, and slide options.

Counseling for the Seat Allotment for 114 Institutes

The JoSSA counseling facilitates the students to take admission to the 114 technical institutes of the country including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, and 33 other government colleges of their choice. The candidates have to fill their choice according to their marks and eligibility for the respective institutes.
