Union HRD Minister announces the launch of “National Abhyaas App” by NTA, to help prepare students for NEET 2020 and JEE 2020.

The CORONA epidemic has altered every aspect of life. It also has put an impact on the way education was imparted. When the world is embracing the online format of education, the Honorable Union HRD Minister is also promoting online learning to help students avoid learning gaps. Today on May 20, HRD minister tweeted about the release of the National Abhyaas APP. He also mentioned in the tweet that “Glad to share that ‘NATIONAL TEST ABHYAAS’ app is now available on Android for JEE (Main) and NEET aspirants”. 

One question paper for JEE Main and NEET of three hours will be made available on the APP available each day. He also mentioned it there in the tweet that the NTA has created the App after receiving multiple requests from the students. It is intended to benefit around 1.6 million students registered for NEET 2020 and approximately 9, 10,000 students registered for JEE Main 2020.

Mr Pramod Maheshwari, CMD of Career Point group said that in an attempt to ease up the preparation of the candidates, NTA has launched a new mobile App “National Abhyaas” for NEET and JEE Main 2020. He further said that to aid education, the HRD ministry is taking appreciable measures. For instance, earlier yesterday as per the recommendation of the MHRD, the NTA has reopened the JEE Main 2020 application process for the students who were forced to drop their plan to pursue engineering education abroad. Other measures include the extension in the correction facility for the candidates’ particulars in NEET and JEE online Application forms. Previously to this, the MHRD had instructed the respective authorities to reschedule the entrance exams as well as the pending board exams. These facts clearly indicate that the MHRD is closely monitoring the whole COVID-19 crisis.
