NEET UG 2020: NTA opens up the facility to correct/change center cities till April 14

A day later to the opening of the Correction Facility for making corrections or changes in the Centre Cities choices in JEE Main 2020 Online Application Form, NTA has opened the facility for NEET 2020 as well.

The Academic Director of Career Point, Mr. ShailendraMaheshwari said that similar to that of the correction facility for JEE Main 2020, correction or change in exam center cities can be done in NEET-UG 2020 application forms up to April 14, 2020. It has been done to help the candidates avoid any hardship amid the CORONAVIRUS outbreak.

The aspirants of NEET 2020 can do the changes or corrections in the particulars of their online application form including choice of examination center by visiting – https://ntaneet.nic.in/, the official website of NEET. He also suggests that all the candidates of NEET 2020 should visit the official website and verify the particulars filled in their application forms and make necessary corrections or changes if required. Moreover, they should make the corrections very carefully as they will not be provided with a further chance of correction.

The official notice that explains about the Correction Facility in the Centre Cities in Online Application Form for NEET (UG)-2020, has been released on April 10. And mentions that the Agency would make all the required efforts to allot the examination center in the order of the candidate’s city choices. However, an examination center in a different city may be allotted due to administrative or other reasons.

Additionally, Mr. Maheshwari said the correction in the particular in the online application forms will be accepted only up to 05:00 pm on April 14, 2020. Therefore the NEET 2020 aspirants should do the correction/changes before the facility gets closed. Depending on the changes or corrections made in the particulars of the Application form, additional fees may require to be paid, and the final update will be reflected after the payment. If any additional amount is applicable, it can be paid through Credit, Debit Card Net Banking or Paytm, up to 11:50 pm on April 14, 2020.
