NTA Postponed JEE Main April 2020 Due To Coronavirus

The National Testing Agency has postponed the JEE Main April 2020, as per the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) order to reschedule various examinations.

Mr Pramod Maheshwari CMD of Career Point said that “As per the public notice released by NTA on 18th of March 2020 that mentions the Postponement of Joint Entrance Examination Main April-2020, the agency made it clear that it has been done in after the MHRD released the order through letter no. Secy (HE)/ MHRD)/ 2020 dated 18th March 2020.

Earlier the JEE Main April 2020 was scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 9 and 11, and as per the communique released by the Ministry, the new exam dates will be announced on March 31.

The New dates of JEE (Main) examinations will be announced on the 31st March 2020.

Mr Maheshwari also informed that the MHRD has mentioned it clearly in the notification that —

“Since JEE mains may require travel by examines to different towns and the dates may clash with rescheduled CBSE and other board exams. Therefore JEE mains should be rescheduled and the new date of JEE mains will be announced on 31st March after reassessment of the situation”

Moreover, the NTA has also made it clear that the admit cards of the JEE Main April 2020, which were scheduled to be issued on March 20 will be released after 31st March 2020.
