NTA Re-activates the Correction Facility of  NEET 2020 After the Release of New Exam Dates

NEET 2020 application form correction facility re-activated after new dates

Starting with this year, NTA has made it an official ritual to open up the correction window for the application forms of the postponed exams. The papers which were rescheduled with the new exam dates. Thus, when the NEET 2020 exam was rescheduled again, on July 3, the NTA once again reactivated the correction facility on the official website for the fifth time.

This time the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2020) has been rescheduled to be held on September 13th from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Following which, on July 6, the NTA released a public notice regarding the correction facility being made operational. This notice was released to inform the students, their parents and others concerned about the areas of correction and its related information. This announcement came up after the official announcement of the new NEET 2020 Dates.

The allowed areas of correction in the application are:-

  •           Correction in the Candidate Particulars, 
  •           Choice of Centre Cities, 
  •           Photograph and Signature

The candidates can visit the official website ntaneet.nic.in to make the aforementioned changes. However, they must note that as per the official public notice, the allowed period starts from September 4, 2020, to September 15, 2020. 

Moreover, the corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted up to 05.00 PM. On the other hand, the submission of fee (if applicable) will be allowed up to 11.50 PM. The candidates are advised to visit the website and verify their Application Form and make necessary corrections wherever required.

The public notice also states that:-

Some of the candidates have uploaded Photographs or Signature which are illegible. 

Such candidates are also advised to upload a clear photograph or signature of the desired specification to avoid cancellation of their candidature. Such students follow the guidelines as detailed in Annexure – A.
