NTA Reopens Correction Facility For NEET 2020 Online Application Forms, Due To COVID-19

Correction Facility For NEET 2020

The correction facility in the particulars in the NEET 2020 Online Application Form, has been made operational again by the NTA.

Managing Director of Career Point, Mr. Pramod Maheshwari said that similar to the extended correction facility for the JEE Main 2020 Applications, correction facility for NEET 2020 has also been started. It has been done to ease the hardships faced by the students while doing corrections in the particulars of the NEET 2020 Online Application Forms due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

He added that all the guidelines and details of the Correction Facility in the Particulars of Online Application Form for NEET UG 2020, are same as that of correction facility for JEE Main 2020.

The facility for correction in the particulars of the NEET 2020 Online Application Form has once again made active on ntaneet.nic.in, the official website of NTA NEET, from April 1st to April 14th, 2020 (up to 05.00 PM). So,all the NEET 2020 aspirants should verify their particulars filled in the Application Form and make corrections if required, by visiting to the website mentioned above.

He also informed that the aspirants will not be further provided the chance of correction, thereforethe correction/s should be done very carefully. Additional fee payment may be required depending on the changes made in the particulars of the NEET 2020 Application Form. And the final updates regarding this will be reflected after the payment. The applicable, additional amount can be paid through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking. However, the candidates the last date to submit any such fee is April 14th, 2020 (up to 11:50 PM).

The aspirants of NEET 2020 and their concerned parents should keep visiting www.ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in, to help get the latest updates of the exam.

The notice regarding the Correction Facility in the Particulars of NEET 2020 Online Application Form also states that the registered candidates are being informed individually through their registered mobile number or registered email-id.

The candidates can also contact the authorities for further clarification about the exam, through the helpline numbers provided by the NTA, these are 8700028512, 8178359845,9650173668,9599676953, and 8882356803.

Public notice regarding “fake Public Notice” that suggests change in the NEET syllabus

Apart from this Mr. Maheshwari informed that the NTA has also released another public notice dated April 3rd, 2020. Which states that a fake Public Notice has been circulating regarding change in the NEET syllabus.

Whereas, NO change in syllabus of NEET has been made, and the NTA does not pose the authority to decide the NEET syllabus, it only provides a link to the syllabus. The link of which is provided in the Information Bulletin and is only reproduced again (www.mciindia.org). Therefore the students should avoid getting misled by false information and fake notices.
