
NTSE or National Talent Search Examination may be a national level examination conducted by the National Council of educational research and training (NCERT) for granting scholarships to meritable students studying in class 10th. NTSE is only conducted for 10th class students and the examination is conducted in two completely different stages – Stage I and II.
The first stage of the NTSE exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by the states and the union territories (UTs). The second stage of the exam is conducted for the students who cleared the first stage and is conducted on the national level. The main objective of this exam is to award scholarships to the students who have potential and are aspiring to pursue higher education in the field of science and social science. This scholarship will help the students to continue their education in the desired streams. The scholarship is provided to the students on the basis of the overall performance that is stage 1 and stage 2.
