MHRD & CBSE Officially Declares Cancellation of Class 10th & 12th Remaining Board Papers, Urges Not to Misinterpret it.

Right from the initial phase of the lockdown, the matter of CBSE pending board exams had become an on-going topic of discussions, both officially and unofficially. Several decisions were taken regarding the conduct of the exam and altered or scrapped later on.

 

Mr Shailendra Maheshwari, Director of Academics Career Point, was keeping a close watch on these happenings. In the previous update, he had notified about the happenings in detail.

Now when the official dialogues and notifications were released yesterday in the public domain, he compiled every single information for the students.

 

Mr Maheshwari informed that on Thursday, June 25, the CBSE Board has cleared its final take on the pending CBSE 2020 Board Exams in the honourable Supreme Court. Following which the HRD Ministry & CBSE both had released the official notification regarding the cancellation of class 10 &12 remaining board exams in the public domain. The official notification that has been released on the official website of CBSE — http://cbse.nic.in/newsite/index.html, mentions every aspect that the board has conveyed to the apex court.

Mr Maheshwari further says that under the aegis Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Honourable HRD Minister of India the HRD Ministry has put up all the timely updates in the public domain.

Thus the ministry has always kept informing the students, their concerned parents and the public at large.

A couple of hours later to the release of official notification, the MHRD also released a tweet to counter the fact that the media and others are misinterpreting the notice. The twitter reads “Few media platforms are wrongly reporting that Class X students may opt for taking exams, if unsatisfied. It is to clarify that NO further examination will be conducted for students in class X & the result declared by CBSE on the basis of the assessment scheme will be treated as final”.
