Thus the schools are bound to test you in your pre-board exams, based on the NCERT Text Book Syllabus. Similarly, the CBSE will frame questions from these prescribed textbooks.

Hence you must not avoid these NCERT Textbooks and do a thorough preparation around it.

Prepare In-Text & Exercise Questions available in NCERT

It is worth mentioning here, that the CBSE has released a Circular that clarifies about the testing areas in the Board Exams. The circular mentions that there are some extra materials in the NCERT Text Books inside the market boxes. And these boxes states that these extra materials are just for the awareness, and not for the testing purpose. Although it may be asked in the CBSE board examinations of class 11th and 12th if it falls under the CBSE Curriculum.

 Hence you need to prepare these extra pieces of information and In-Text Questions according to the syllabus of the CBSE.

Previous Year Question Papers and Sample Papers

Every year the CBSE Board publishes CBSE Sample Papers for each subject to help the students prepare for Board Exams. In addition to that, you should get a copy of previous year question papers of CBSE board exams and solve it multiple times. It will definitely bring you an idea of the way questions are framed. And additionally, the topics or the portions more likely to be asked in the pre-board and the board exams that you will write for.

Develop answering skill
